Reading This Saturday at Robin's, 4pm 

This Saturday at 4pm I'll be reading as part of the The Nor’easter Exchange, a floating literary reading series that brings together writers of various styles and backgrounds to perform at venues in Philly and New York. This one's here, at Robin's Bookstore, 110A S. 13th St, and will also feature Cihan Kaan, Aziza Kinteh, Eliel Lucero, and Yolanda Wisher. Hosted by Nina Sharma and Quincy Scott Jones.

First, at 4pm at Fergie's Pub, 1214 Sansom St: Further Landscapes: a reading and discussion on writing about ecology in urban environments.

Then, at 8pm at Chapterhouse Cafe, 9th & Bainbridge: a poetry reading by Hoa Nguyen, Jonathan Skinner, and Chris McCreary. Details here.

Windows and Mirrors
Reflections on the War in Afghanistan

AFSC Arch Street Meeting House

November 5 @ 8pm


Frank Sherlock, Carlos Soto Roman, Mytili Jagannathan & CAConrad will join members of Warrior Writers for a reading at the Windows and Mirrors exhibition. The traveling exhibit provides an opportunity to see ourselves in depictions of the war in Afghanistan through the eyes of artists and children.

Come at 7pm for an artists' dialogue
with Joe Brenman, Deborah Gross-Zuchman, Cathleen Hughes, Karen Light, Ann Northrup and Philip Zuchman.
